Removing "Showing post with label...show all posts"

Step 1.

If you are using the new Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Template - Edit HTML - Proceed - Expand Widget Template (make a backup)

Step 2. Now find (CTRL+F) this code in the template:
<b:includable id='status-message'>
  <b:if cond='data:navMessage'>

      <data:navMessage/>

<data:navMessage/>

  </b:if>
</b:includable>

Step 3. Delete the code from above and replace it with this one:
<b:includable id='status-message'>
<b:if cond='data:navMessage'>

</b:if>
</b:includable>

Save the template. View your blog and click on some label....no more box.

Show Blogger Image Only In Homepage And Hide It In Post Page

If you are using the new Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Template - Edit HTML - Proceed - Expand Widget Template (make a backup)
Step 2. Find (CTRL + F) this code in your template:
    }</b:skin>

Step 3. Copy and paste the following code just below it

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "index"'>

</b:if>

Step 4. Save the Template.

Now everytime you create a post, firstly add the pic you want to hide and then switch to Edit HTML tab where you'll see the HTML code of the image you have added that will look something like this:

Note: it should be at the exact location where your image has been added (if the image is at the middle of the text, then the code should be located also at the middle)

All you have to do is to replace "separator" with "hidepic" as you can see in this screenshot below:

To hide (or show) widgets in particular posts, static pages, homepage or archive pages, you can use conditional tags.

1. First of all, go to Blogger's Dashboard >> Design >> Page Elements and give a name for the HTML/Javascript gadgets you have already added. Doing this it will be easy for you to identify the widgets in your blogger template. Give it a unique title so that it does not match with any of the titles of other widgets added.
2. Then go to Dashboard >> Design >> Edit HTML and check the "Expand Widget Templates" box.
3. Find your widget in the HTML by using Ctrl+F and entering the widget's name in the search box. Let's say i have given the title for my widget as "Recent Posts". After searching you will find the below snippets:

This code represents the widget/gadget that you have added in the Page Elements location. All you have to do is to add the following conditional tags marked with red just below and above to hide the widget from specific pages or posts in Blogger. Let's see some examples:
To show the widget only in Homepage:

To show Blogger widget only in post pages

To show the widget in a specific page

Note: Replace URL of the page with the address of the page in which you want the widget to appear
To hide a widget only in a particular page

To show widgets only in static pages

To hide widgets in Static Pages

To show widgets only in Archive Pages

After you have added the conditional tags, Save Template and view your blog.

Be the first and only thing that people see when they come to my site.

From your Blogger Dashboard, go to Settings > Search Preferences and look forCustom Redirects option, then in the From: box enter a forward slash - "/" and in the To:box enter the page name which is after the blogspot.com - for example yours would looks something like "/p/Forum.html" (you should add the slash before of it here too). Now thick the "Permanent" checkbox and click on the 'Save' link, then press the 'Save changes' button. Hope it works!
